so its friday again.. time is moving faster and faster in cyclic tendancy. I appologise for the lack of postage over the past few days, i've been in bed with a very bad cold. Oh well i've had my dosage of daytime tv for another 6 months and ate a large amount of Cadbury's chocolate eclairs and feel ready for the battle zone once more. A bit of interesting news for ya. Dry and Heavy release their forth album on Green Tea on the 16th September entitled New Creation. I could not reccommend it more highly having heard the 12". Proper late 70's style Rockers reggae with modern production skills mixed with the punky funky vocals form Likkle Mai. Check it don't wreck it. Anyway i'm gonna go and enjoy the beauty that is this Indian summer. Me and Nou lay on the moss and bathed in the golden sunlight late yesterday afternoon in her garden. Purrrrrfect. Have a good weekend. Wednesday, September 11, 2002
It seems as though its just gonna be one of those weeks.. when the days don't seem to fit together too well. It feels like it should be Thursday already but alas seems i'm 24 hours behind my mind. Anyway me and my mate Tom are having a nice dubwise jam session tonight so thats all good.. just gotta push on through in front of this screen until then. I haven't really got anything profound or amazing to chat about today.. feeling a bit goonish in all. Me and Nou sat in last night and watched tv. The was quite an interesting show about Biggie Smalls and Tupac.. seems there's more to the story than meets the eye. Anyway don't expect any more posts from me today. I'm gona let silence reign for once as a sign of respect. Judge not my people. Be humble. Peace is what we need. Tuesday, September 10, 2002

Here's a bit of reggae news for you. Mad Professor on tour with his Sci-Fi Dub outfit. October 4th - Leeds, UK October 5th - Sheffield, UK October 25th - Womex Festival, Essen,Germany October 26th - Newcastle, UK October 27th - Dundee, Scotland November 1st - Sweden Also... the Mighty Jah Shaka to play Cambridge Junction Thursday 26th September. SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS. So its Monday morning and the weather has turned nasty.. I might buy a boat. Spent most of the weekend relaxing and writing music on Fruity Loops. I also managed to get to the cinema to see Once Upon a Time in the Midlands. It feels like a typical film 4 production (minus the heroin) and is generally nice and light hearted... but where were all the people from the Midlands? hmmm. Oh yeh. I love this album cover. |
